PS4 and XBOX Controller Presets
PS4 and XBOX have 4 different control presets that can be used when playing.

Recommended Preset: Bumper Jumper
The Bumper Jumper Tactical preset is recommended for beginners. Melee combat is not a priority in BO4 so it is more important to prioritize jumping and crouching.
Set Your Controller's Sensitivity High
By default, your controller's sensitivity will be set at 4, try dialing it up to a higher sensitivity so you can look around and aim faster. This will help when you need to make a quick turn, and shoot someone behind you!
Lower The Sensitivity To A Comfortable Level
If you feel like the sensitivity needs to be higher or lower after playing a few games, adjust accordingly. Then play a few games again, and adjust. Do this until you find the best sensitivity for you.
Switch ADS & Fire Inputs
Consider switching the default ADS & Fire buttons (L2 / R2 or LT / RT) to their bumper counterparts (L1 / R1 or LB / RB). This way, you will be able to shoot faster since the buttons do not need to be squeezed all the way down.

Turn On Assists
There is no shame in turning on the aim or targeting assist to help you play better. It will help you practice getting the aiming mechanics down, and maybe even turn it off eventually when you are confident enough!
Enable Auto Sprint
There is an autosprint option that will help you continuously sprint. There are some cases when sprinting manually for awhile will cause you to stop sprinting from time to time. Enabling this setting should alleviate this.
Adjusting Graphic Settings
Graphic settings are an important element that needs to be adjusted immediately in CoD. In a game that has fast-paced gameplay, you need to see things right away to react to the situation accordingly!
Enable HDR
Enabling HDR will give you a slight advantage without turning up your brightness. With HDR on, you will be able to spot enemies easier, even when they are hiding in the shadows! Note that this is only applicable to HDR capable displays.
Adjust The Brightness Setting (Non-HDR Capable Display)
The Brightness will be the key setting that you need to adjust to help you play better in the game. Having it set a bit brighter will help you easily spot enemies in dark places. However don't set it too high as the screen may be a bit blinding!
Adjusting Audio Settings
Sound matters a lot as they can tell you when enemies are getting close. Gaming headsets or earphones with microphone are recommended especially when you play in Duos or Quads.
Lower Music Volume, Increase SFX Volume
Try to lower elements in the game that can distract you from playing, like Music Volume, while turning up SFX Volume to hear audio cues like gunfire more clearly!
Choose The Supercrunch Preset
You will be able to adjust Audio Presets in the settings to help improve your gameplay CoD: BO4. It is recommended to choose the Supercrunch Preset since it allows for you to hear more subtle auditory cues like footsteps, a gun reloading, and the like.

This guide will provide you with all the information you will need to set up your A50 Wireless + Base Station Gen 4 with your Xbox Series X or S.
Here is the ASTRO equipment you will need to connect:
- A50 Headset
- A50 Base Station
- Micro USB cable

Step by Step
Step 1: Make sure that both your A50 Headset and Base Station are updated to the latest available firmware from the ASTRO Command Center Software using a PC or Mac by following the instructions in this quick video tutorial.
Step 2: Make sure your Xbox Series X|S system is turned on.

Step 3: Download the Dolby Access app on your Xbox Series X|S.
Step 4: Connect the Micro USB end of the included cable with the A50 Base Station's Micro USB port.
Step 5: Make sure your Base Station is in Xbox mode, using the switch on the back of your Base Station.
Step 6: Connect the USB-A end of that same cable with a USB-A port on your Xbox Series X|S. Gta online best apartment. If your Xbox is powered on, this headset should be assigned to you if you're signed in. If multiple users are signed in, be sure to specify which user the headset should be assigned to.
Step 7: Open your Xbox Series X|S menu by pressing the Xbox button on your controller. Navigate to the Settings menu.
Step 8: Choose the Volume & audio output settings menu.
Step 9: Under Volume options, ensure that the Party chat output is set to Headset.
Step 10: Under Headset audio, ensure that the Headset format is set to Dolby Atmos, even if you are using 2-channel stereo.
Step 11: Launch the Dolby Access app on your Xbox Series X|S console. The Xbox/PC version of the Gen 4 Base Station has a lifetime Dolby Atmos license and is automatically detected by the Dolby Access app.
Step 12: Open the Settings menu within the Dolby Access app.
Step 13: Choose from the Equalizer (EQ) presets for your A50 Wireless + Base Station or create a custom EQ profile of your own. If you do not want virtualized surround sound you may disable the surround virtualizer at the bottom of your custom EQ. The Custom EQ will still be applied to your stereo sound.
**Important Note: The Dolby Access app EQ profiles override the existing profiles on the A50 Headset. The A50's on-headset EQ profiles will not be applied to the USB audio received from the Xbox Series X|S. Also, Dolby surround sound (surround virtualization) is processed through the Dolby Access app in this configuration and the A50's Dolby button can be turned off. Step 14: Close out the menu and start up your favorite game.
You're good to go! Be sure to check in-game options regarding potential player muting or other audio setup, as these features can differ from game to game. Your A50's mic can also be manually muted using the headset's flip-to-mute microphone.
